2020: Optimist Bowling Tournament

Our 6th annual Optimist Bowling Tournament on October 10, 2020 was a smashing success! We had our most teams ever (16) and raised our most funds ever ($3,175) through the tournament and silent auction! The proceeds from this year's event
were split between our Optimist Club and our selected charity, the Anne Carlsen Center. We are very grateful to all the local businesses and individuals that donated items for our silent auction which helped make things such a success with fundraising.

Congratulations to BNC Bank for winning the Battle of the Banks bowling competition for the 2nd year in a row. Also, congratulations to Bill Dean's team, the Urban Achievers for having the highest team bowling score. We also created a new award this year- Team Spirit, which was awarded to RADD Team #2. A special thanks to our bowling committee members, Wes Engbrecht, Sylvia Burgess and Brooks Grotte for all their help in putting this event together. We are looking forward to next year!
